All work and donations were placed directly into the organization to provide scholarships in the spring. The board of directors awarded the first scholarship in March of 2005 to a visually impaired student from the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind in Saint Augustine, Florida, just 6 months after Ashley went home to Heaven.
